Abraham Lincoln Elementary School

This project was to remodel and add on to the existing Abraham Lincoln Elementary School. The demolition portion of this project consisted of demolition and removal of existing asphalt parking lots, concrete sidewalks, existing utilities and numerous playground structures. There were 8,000 CY of mass earthwork required to build the new class room additions, new parking lot, bus loop, concrete sidewalks and new storm pond and swells. The new utilities consisted of 810 LF of new 4″ and 6″ Sewer lines, 1,211 LF of new 4″, 6″ and 8″ Domestic Water Lines and 2,918 Lf of new 4″, 6″, 8″, 10″ and 12″ Storm lines along with associated catch basins, storm drain manholes and dry wells. New building construction included excavation and prep for numerous footings and concrete slabs. Offsite work consisted of a half- street improvement including new asphalt, curb and gutter and concrete sidewalks along with new concrete ADA ramps installed at 5 different intersections.
